System: NetBSD q8bf 1.4.3_ALPHA NetBSD 1.4.3_ALPHA (BFKERN) #0: Tue Jul 31 13:54:29 JST 2001 root@q8bf:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/BFKERN i386
>Description:
Using pkgsrc/editors/nvi-m17n, and executing as "nvi-euc-jp,"
"map" macros are not read in from ~/.exrc. If executed as "nvi,"
the ~/.exrc is read, but of course EUC encoding is not supported.
>How-To-Repeat:
Put for example "map g 1G" in "~/.exrc." Execute as "nvi-euc-jp"
and press 'g', and you will get warning that 'g' is not a vi
command. If run as "nvi", pressing 'g' will put you at the top
	of the page as expected.
