dev_mkdb is unable to generate /var/run/dev.db if var is on
another partition than /tmp
The following error appears:
[root@gibbon:~]# dev_mkdb
dev_mkdb: rename /tmp/dev.tmp to /var/run/dev.db: Cross-device link
Here are my mount points:
/dev/wd0a on / type ffs (local)
/dev/wd0e on /var type ffs (local)
/dev/wd0f on /usr type ffs (local)
/dev/sd0b on /usr/oth type ext2fs (local)
/dev/wd1f on /usr/oth2 type ffs (local)
