I think it's not productive to keep some of those old PR's open. I'm
thinking of crashes that ocurred with particular hardware at some time
in the distant past, and other things, too. I'm not suggesting we
sweep anything under the rug, but if a PR can't conceivably trigger
some clear course of action, we should just close it.
