>Description:
NetBSD 1.5.1 Beta seems to be having trouble
reading the CIS structure from the card, and ultimately decides that
something is wrong. Some debugging output from pcmcia_cis is enclosed
below.
I've tried the card on a 1.5R system, and it's recognized
there. I tried building a kernel with the 1.5T /sys/dev/pcmcia
files (except for the wdc driver and the if_ drivers), but
that didn't work.
BSD/OS recognizes the card, too; here's what it says:
tpce_pd_cv: unknown extension byte 0x6d
Slot 0: flags=0x3<UP,RUNNING>
Attached device: com4
Manufacturer Name: "Novatel Wireless"
Product Name: "Merlin Ricochet Modem"
Additional Info1: "NRM6842"
Function ID: 2 (Serial)
Assigned IRQ: 9
Assigned I/O port1: 0x3e8-0x3ef
Here's the debugging output from 1.5.1 Beta. I've deleted a
lot more ov the CISTPL_NONE\n00 traces.
