Actually did boot from /dev/sd0d :)
Less user-friendly: kernel has to be loaded from HFS with 'ask for alternate
root/swap' enabled, and Root partition must be entered with each boot:(
The Booter really lacks certain configuration options (if I only could save
root=/dev/sd0d permanently), and available opts in 'boot from ufs|ffs vol'
don't have any effect, as they're overwritten by dumb autoprobe routine.
Again: how to get Booter|Installer ignore ext2fs slices?
