I thought I was dreaming when I encountered this last night too. I
guess not! :-)
Seems the devel/libtool package was split without much testing.
It also seems from the comment on devel/libtool/files/fdl.texi that the
problem was noticed once upon a time subsequent to the split, but fixed
in the wrong place, again without sufficient testing!
Why the libtool package was split is also strange. The comment in the
CVS logs for devel/libtool/Makefile says, in part:
Split into libtool-base and libtool-info, for easier system bootstrap.
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and seems like a totally bogus
line of reasoning. You don't *ever* _need_ libtool to build texinfo,
especially not on NetBSD, and thus texinfo can be "bootstrapped" without
it!!!! What "system bootstrap" are you talking about Hubert?
