Ftpd respond to "LIST -al /dir/name/." command with null list
while directory /dir/name is not null.
And respond to "LIST -al /dir/name/file" command with null list
while file "/dir/name/file" exist.

>How-To-Repeat:
Use ftp client and connect to ftp, type
> ls "-al /dir/name/."

No matter when /dir/name is not null, no list is available.

emacs's ange-ftp issue this command,
so exist file is not found.

I don't know, but 1.4.2's ftpd respond correctly.
