from dmesg:

ne2: national semiconductor infomover ethernet
ne2: where did card go?
I get this at install time. Since I can't move on (i need it for ftp), I don't know if this is a problem in the full kernel. The ethernet card stays in the whole time (it seems like it believes it is yanked out). Works fine with netbsd-1.4.2
