>Organization:
>Environment:
Booting off if install disk(s), never finishes boot.
>Description:
While booting off of the 1.5 ALPHA2 i386 diskettes onto a Compaq Armada 7792MT Laptop, the kernel boot detects and shows the pcic0 controllers and slots:

pcic0: at isa0 port 0x3e0-0x3e1 iomem 0xd0000-0xd3ffff
pcic0: controller 0 (Intel 82365SL Revision 1) has sockets A and B
pcic0: controller 0 (Intel 82365SL Revision 1) has no sockets
pcmcia0 at pcic0 controller 0 socket 0
pcmcia1 at pcic0 controller 0 socket 1

It contiues a bit and right after the biosmask message, I get:
pcico: controller 0 detecting irqs with mask 0xde18:..9..10uvm_fault(0xc0561200, 0x0, 0, 1) -> 1
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stop in swapper at 0xc0296b60: movl 0x14(%ecx),%edx

And then I get the "db>" prompt.

I can tell you that NetBSD 1.4.2 could see and use the PCMCIA card adaptor without any real problems (at least it would boot)
>How-To-Repeat:
Boot the install floppys on a Compaq Armada 7792MT Laptop

I have tried boot with and without PCMCIA cards in the slot(s) with no difference in the results.
