>Description:
if we undefine INET in kernel configuration file, kernel will hang up
for more than 10 seconds if we invoke pppd(8), and the phone line
connection is established. it seems that it is in infinite loop inside
	sys/net/ppp_tty.c.
>How-To-Repeat:
build a kernel without INET (or remove VJC from sys/net/if_ppp.c).
	try pppd(8).
