My thinkpad will no longer go into suspend mode.  When I run "apm -z" or
close the cover, my machine will run the suspend scripts, pause for some
seconds, then print on the console:
  APM set power state <1,2>: unable to enter requested state (0x6007)
It will then run the resume scripts.  "apm -S" seems to work normally.

I have played with all of the APM options listed under options(4); none
made any difference.
