>Environment:
IBM ThinkPad 310, NetBSD 1.5 Alpha (000725 kernel source)
>Description:
The IBM ThinkPads have a Fn key which can be used to control display
backlight brightness, audio volume etc. with the function keys. When
Fn + function key is pressed, a small icon appears on the display and
the brightness etc. can be adjusted with Fn + cursor keys. The icon
	disappears with Fn + Esc.

Under NetBSD 1.5 Alpha (several recent kernels up to 25th of July),
when Fn + function key is pressed, the system locks up completely.
Also, when the lid of the laptop is closed, the system locks up.

This happens both in single user mode and in multi user mode, with and
without APM in kernel. It also happens in debugger if I enter ddb
before pressing Fn+func. After lockup, nothing works - not even the
	capslock LED.

I also tried disabling wscons and using pc0, but it didn't help.
APM doesn't seem to affect this (I tried various APM options and
	then without APM).

Under NetBSD 1.4.x, Fn+func worked without problems (sometimes a bit
slow, but I never had a lockup).

>How-To-Repeat:
Boot the system and press Fn+funtion key. Lockup.
>Fix:
	No fix known.
