System: NetBSD penfret.antioche.eu.org 1.5_ALPHA NetBSD 1.5_ALPHA (ALPHA) #2: Wed Jul 5 20:12:07 MEST 2000 bouyer@penfret.antioche.eu.org:/home/bouyer/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/ALPHA alpha
Sources supped from ksrc-common and ksrc-alpha
>Description:
I tried building an alpha kernel, after geeting sources with sup
using ksrc-common and ksrc-alpha. The compile failed with:
penfret:/home/sources/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/PENFRET>make scc.o
cc -O2 -Werror -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith
-Wno-uninitialized -Wno-main -mno-fp-regs -I. -I../../../../arch -I../../../.. -
nostdinc -DDIAGNOSTIC -DDEBUG -DLKM -DMAXUSERS=32 -D_KERNEL -Dalpha -c ../../..
/../arch/alpha/tc/scc.c
../../../../arch/alpha/tc/scc.c:99: pmax/include/pmioctl.h: No such file or dire
ctory
../../../../arch/alpha/tc/scc.c:101: pmax/dev/device.h: No such file or director
y
../../../../arch/alpha/tc/scc.c:102: pmax/dev/pdma.h: No such file or directory
If these files are required for alpha they should be in a MI directory.
>How-To-Repeat:
compile a kernel with only ksrc-common and ksrc-alpha sources.
>Fix:
workaround: get ksrc-pmax too.
