mine as well.  if sendmail.org is trying to get uniform behavior across
platforms, that's more likely to succeed than every OS trying to outguess
the others.  but in the meantime it's nice if the startup script doesn't
fail - different heterogeneous sites might want to migrate to /etc/mail 
in different timeframes.

(yeah, I know - we should just run netbsd on *all* of our platforms...)
