i can easily delete the symlink, yes, but my fingers are rather used
to typing /etc/sendmail.cf.  besides...in my opinion, the script would
be more correct to test for the file in the place where it should *now
be*, rather where it should *no longer be*.

and i've got a private copy of the sendmail script.  that's where the
patch came from.  :)
