I've been slowly testing a change that removes non-X11-related '-L'
options from the environment that pkgsrc/mk/bsd.pkg.mk, and so far
things are working a *lot* better with packages like glimpse, and even
with packages that use internal libraries that might have same-named
libraries installed by other packages.

Package authors should not be faulted for using '-L' and '-l' to find
their own internal libraries. This is extremely common and quite
portable too.
