Well, it isn't really an mpeg file at all... The header (and probably
trailer) is just someones "extension". Player developers are well
within their rights to consider it garbage, many may prefer to for
puritan reasons.
What you really need is an 'id3' file player, that will extract and
play the encapsulated mpeg data.
