>Description:
The latest modifications to the expression evaluation code in "/bin/sh"
break the "patch" target in "pkgsrc/bsd.pkg.mk".
>How-To-Repeat:
1.) Go to "pkgsrc/net/ttcp".
2.) Replace time.h" in line 7 of "patches/patch-ab" with "foobar.h"
3.) Type "make makepatchsum" and "make":
tron@lyssa:/usr/pkgsrc/net/ttcp>make
>Fix:
Sorry, I don't now
>Audit-Trail:
>Unformatted:
>> Checksum OK for ttcp.tar.Z.
===> Extracting for ttcp-1.12
===> Patching for ttcp-1.12
===> Applying NetBSD patches for ttcp-1.12
1 out of 8 hunks failed--saving rejects to ttcp.c.rej
Patch /src/NetBSD-current/pkgsrc/net/ttcp/patches/patch-ab failed
===> Building for ttcp-1.12
cc -O2 -Werror -c ttcp.c
cc -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/lib -L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/lib -L/usr/pkg/lib -o ttcp ttcp.o
nroff -Tascii -mandoc ttcp.1 > ttcp.cat1
Although "patch" failed the build doesn't get aborted. With a "/bin/sh"
based on 2000/01/25 sources it gets aborted.
