I use wscons for virtual terminals in a standard way and KDB_FR in my
kernel config (french keyboard).

On the 'login:' prompt, the cursor can be moved above it by the use of
the left arrow key. Then it provides new lines on screen ('login:' is
going upstairs).

Then, the terminal does not react on the use of <return> : I can't
obtain a new 'login:' prompt.

After a while, the login prompt is coming back (a new one is provided).
