>Release: NetBSD-1.4 <NetBSD-current source date>
>Environment:
i386 (AMD K6), NetBSD 1.4, openldap package

System: NetBSD princecharles.bentley.asa.co.uk 1.4 NetBSD 1.4 (ASA) #6: Tue Jul 20 13:44:29 BST 1999 root@princecharles.bentley.asa.co.uk:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/ASA i386

>Description:
The openldap package's configuration utility ldif2ldbm fails to link against
the libwrap library at run time. This appears to be a build error as this
utility does not require the use of the libwrap library. The fault may effect
other such utilites in the openldap package. The error can be found with the
i386 binary package as well as with a binary built from the package source on
a 1.4 NetBSD i386 build.

>How-To-Repeat:
This problem should be repeatable with any NetBSD-1.4 build and the openldap
package. It can be repeated with an i386 build with the existing binary package
or pakage source. All that is required after instalation is an attempt to
execute the ldif2ldbm command.

>Fix:

I think this could be fixed by changing the resulting make files the package
creates in the work directory but I haven't investigated the cause for the
incorrect dynamic linkage flags yet.
