System: NetBSD prez.buf.servtech.com 1.4D NetBSD 1.4D (prez) #5: Sat Jul 3 17:57:54 EDT 1999 mikeride@prez.buf.servtech.com:/usr/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/prez alpha

>Description:
typing "make install" in /usr/pkgsrc/games/nighthawk results in an executable which can't find the required shared object code (/usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so). It isn't being build correctly by the package importer. Because it's setgid games, it won't even "listen" to a setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH directive.
>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
A workaround is to remove the setgid bit, & then use an LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable. Properly, though, it should be able to find shared objects w/o the setenv.
