	the NMH 1.0 pkg overwrites important local configuration files when
	it is installing (such as mts.conf).  this means that local config
	must be *redone* everytime and is lost unless you have a backup...

>How-To-Repeat:

	upgrade nmh pkg and suddenly Lose because mts.conf is broken.

>Fix:

	install the distribution files as "xxx.dist" and if the real file
	"xxx" doesn't exist, then copy "xxx.dist" to "xxx".

	i seem to recall that an earlier patch for the nmh package did
	this.  fortunately, i did keep an online copy of my mts.conf...
