>Environment:
DECstation 5000/200 target, DS3100 server (NetBSD 1.3.3)
System: NetBSD rpy.phxlab.allied.com 1.3.3 NetBSD 1.3.3 (AS1) #1: Thu Apr 15 11:35:11 PDT 1999 root@phxtst45:/usr/src/sys/arch/pmax/compile/AS1 pmax
>Description:
During a netboot install, after the target disk has been
labelled and newfs'd, sysinst executes a pax command to copy the contents
of the nfs-mounted root to the mounted target disk. Pax issues a warning
that a file called '.nfsXXXXXX' (where XXXXXX seems to be generated using
mktemp()) was changed during the copy. Presumably, pax then exits with a
'bad' status value, and sysinst terminates.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install NetBSD 1.4 on a pmax using the netboot install
procedure from a NetBSD 1.3.3 server.
>Fix:
I found no way to work around this problem.
