>Release: 1.4/sparc
>Environment:
System: SS5 w/ NetBSD 1.4
>Description:
I've just installed NetBSD 1.4 by booting from floppy and
then installing via ftp. First of all, things worked really
good, there are some small issues which could be improved:
- remember the network config somewhere - esp. default
gateway and nameserver ip
- while fetching the sets via ftp, the progress-o-meter
isn't displayed at all - which was quite annoying with
my slow connection to ftp.netbsd.org
- given my slow connection, i've only chosen kern, base
and etc to install for now. After that, I got some
complain that some basic sanity check failed, without
further details. Some more information on what actually
failed would be nice.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install as above.
