System: NetBSD mint 1.3F NetBSD 1.3F (MINT) #114: Sun Sep 20 11:58:36 JST 1998 kei@localhost:/var/src/sys/arch/mac68k/compile/MINT mac68k

Macintosh IIci, 32M RAM, Portrait Video Card and Monitor,
Daystar 50MHz 68030/68882 Accelerator w/ ext. cache enabled,
boot drive is IBM, DCAS-34330, S65A, other is OLYMPUS, MOS332, 2.60
	Magneto-Optical drive.

>Description:
I noticed the condition that hangs the kernel. When the serial line
connection of PPP was active and tried to do disklabel on non-boot
drive, the kernel immediately locked up completely (modem kept OH but
I heard reley clicked). NMI switch didn't work. It's reproducable and
not occurs when just pppd runs and serial line connection is inactive.
With my interesting, the problem not occur with boot drive.

The kind of non-boot drive doesn't seem to care, the problem happens
	with multiple harddrives also.

I experienced it with stock kernel (both of NCR and SBC) (from 1.2,
	IIRC).

>How-To-Repeat:
Do disklabel <non-boot drive> when PPP line is active.
