>Description:
I know this is a whole nasty can o' worms I'm opening up here, but...

Under pcvt, I was very happy with backspace, delete, and ctrl-H
mapping. If I hit the backspace key, it would send a delete. If I
hit the delete key, it would send a delete. If I hit ctrl-H, it would
send backspace.

Under wscons, backspace actually sends backspace, and delete still
sends delete. Ctrl-H, of course, sends backspace.

My personal preference would be for backspace to send delete, but
that's certainly negotiable. However, the real issue is that keyboard
mapping ought to be supported. I know it's on the list, but I wanted
to make a note here, where it won't be forgotten, that it would be
very nice to have backspace and ctrl-H independently remappable.
