System: NetBSD bishop 1.3E NetBSD 1.3E (BISHOP) #323: Wed Apr 8 12:42:08 PDT 1998 thorpej@bishop:/tmp_mnt/dracul/u5/netbsd/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/BISHOP alpha

>Description:
	When booting into DDB as follows:

	>>> boot ewa0 -fl "d"

	the console keyboard is not properly initialized, apparently.
	It behaves as if a "random" keymap is being used, where keys
	types essentially produce random junk.

	I have submitted this as a "port-alpha" because the problem does
	NOT exist on my PPro using wscons.

>How-To-Repeat:
	Boot into DDB on an Alpha equipped as above.

>Fix:
	Unknown.
