>Release: NetBSD-current of 1998/3/24
System: NetBSD 1.3E NetBSD 1.3E (ROAD-RUNNER) #98: Mon Mar 23 22:12:16 EST 1998 i386

The maintainer of bzip2 removed two Win32 executables from the
bzip2-0.1pl2.tar.gz distribution file on 1998/3/3, and modified the
README.DOS to explain why. As a result, the MD5 sum changed. No other
files in the distribution were changed.
Try to make the bzip2 package. Watch it fail the checksum test
(assuming the build obtained the distfile from the master site).
Change the MD5 sum given in files/md5, after downloading from the distribution
site and comparing the contents with the bzip2-0.1pl2.tar.gz on

Whether the bzip maintainer should be pestered for not changing the patchlevel
or some other visible aspect of the package is left as an exercise for
release-engineering theorists.
