At least in my experience, mpg123-0.59o performs better when compiled with
'make freebsd' (ie. with ossaudio emulation) instead of 'make netbsd-i386'

audio_sun.c and change machine/soundcard.h to soundcard.h in 
audio_oss.c and add -lossaudio to linker flags.
