>Release: NetBSD 1.2G (GENERICX) #5: Thu Oct 2 14:55:54 PDT 1997
>Environment:
System: NetBSD m1 1.2G NetBSD 1.2G (GENERICX) #5: Thu Oct 2 14:55:54 PDT 1997 phil@m3:/home/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERICX i386

>Description:
On boot, the kernel hangs when using the GENERIC kernel. It
hangs just after printing the biomask line during boot.
>How-To-Repeat:
Run on a system with all scsi disks and a wdc1 controller
without a wdc0 controller, boot the -current GENERIC kernel.

The following is the dmesg output from the machine in question. The
GENERICX kernel is GENERIC with the wdc1 controller commented out.
This machine has in addition to the listed devices below a wdc1
controller with a atapi cdrom.
