Yes. I know that this is not perfect. But was mainly to get the point.
I had to find out that current on at least i386 does already support
this now. But other comands seem not to 'route show', ifconfig etc.

Other problem is perhaps that cidr prefixes are not compatible to not
continuous masks like 255.0.255.0 :(
