If mail(1) is run in a su'd shell, it reads the original user's
mailbox, using root's .mailrc and saving to root's mbox. This
is inconsistent; it should either be the real user or root.

MHO, make mail(1) use getuid() to figure out who it is, probably,
unless this is my fault.
