System: NetBSD broccoli.emsi.priv.at 1.2.1 NetBSD 1.2.1 (BROCCOLI) #8: Sat May 24 14:14:26 MET DST 1997 root@:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/BROCCOLI i386

>Description:
Trying to install -current on a Digital HiNote VP yields, after
booting the kernel, one

APM get event:interface not engaged (11)

_per_second_ on the console. Also, the kernel recognizes the APM
version as "Power Management spec V1.0", while it is V1.1 (and
is recognized as such by a 1.2.1+apm-patches kernel).

Compiling the kernel with APMDEBUG gives:

See also port-i386/3496, where the same problem appears on a NEC
Versa. Perhaps the APM-code doesn't work at all??
