Do you mean "any line that starts with 'From'" or "lines that could be
taken as valid 'From_' lines"?  In the former case, I argue for fixing
the broken MUA.  A From_ line has a well defined format.  Escaping any
line that starts with "From" ist entirely unnecessary.
