Ah, I've had tags turned off since around the NetBSD 1.0A days (or is it
1.1A? The NetBSD-current before 1.1 :) I don't think I've tried the 1.2
driver with tags turned on for more than a few minutes, so maybe that
problem had already been fixed. Someone did send a message to
current-users about the assertion failure problem around September
though...
