I tried to make "/usr/src/distrib/i386/floppies" today and got a kernel panic:

panic: null: locking against myself

After the reboot I tried the same under "/home/src" ("/usr/src" is a
null mount of "/home/src") and it worked. Obviously there is a problem
with "vnd" and the "nullfs".

mount -t null /where/your/sources/are /usr/src
cd /usr/src/distrib/i386/floppies
make depend all
