It was pointed out to me that in order to better follow convesion the
message should end in "text" not "mailbox".  Here it is again.

In case you don't remember, ITS is/was Incompatible Timesharing System,
the name was a take off on CTSS.  "babyl" was a mail program used on ITS,
GNU Emacs uses the same(?) file format.
