So, i've actually taken the time to sit down, look this patch over,
etc.  I'm not entirely satisfied with the interface that it provides,
but i think it's close enough that i can make it do what should be
done, for the i386, w/o too much difficulty.

I'm not going to get this done before USENIX, but might have something
to be tested by the general populace not too long after that.  If
you're interested in testing code that i may come up with, please
send mail to me with a subject that indicates your interest.
