I have been testing with multiple lan cards on netbsd 1.1, and
come up with some information I would like to share with the
developers of netbsd driver for these cards:

(1) 3c507 ep driver is very unsocial, it wants to be alone, can;t
take another other card of same kind (i.e. 3c507) or of any other
kind. One you put another card in with right hardware configuration,
that is not conflicting io address, irq, mem addres, it will disappear
from netbsd under the "ifconfig" command in netstart with error
message: ifconfig: SIOCAIFADDR: file exists

(2) You can put a 3c503, a 3c507 card together on netbsd, will work
happily with different ip addresses.

(3) I failed in putting two 3c507s together and get the same result
as one. That I think the developer is already aware of. Thanks.

(4) I did not try put more than 1 3c503 card in, so no conclusion
there.

But can anyone tip me as how I can fix netbsd to my requirements,
i.e. more than 1 lan interface, up to say 4, with same card, say
509.
