The following two lines in the ~skel/dot.cshrc file are messed up:

set prompt = "$mch:q:$cwd:t {!} "
umask 2

The first one doesn't work with the csh that's bundled with the system
(it complains about an unknown variable modifier), and the second is
an obvious security problem.
