Subject: NetBSD mac68k...lockup and Alpha 1.1 Kernel?

I've tried to setup many times NetBSD 1.0 on my MacIIx, but while it
seems to boot fine, about 20 seconds after I login the machine stops
responding to keyboard input. I have no idea if the whole machine is
crashed or whether it's just ignoring the keyboard, but I can't do
anything at this point except a hardware re-boot. I can manage to get
in a few commands like 'ls' before it goes down.

Also, the Installer program seems very unstable I have to install about
six times to get all the way though without the mac crashing in middle
of installation. Could this be related?

I figured I'd wait for the NetBSD 1.1 release, but now I can't find
the NetBSD-1.1 ALPHA kernel in binary form on any of the sites. All
the other pieces are there, just not the kernel "netbsd". Perhaps
it's just not out yet, but is there a place I can try it?

Is this a known bug??? My MacIIx is totally stock, I don't understand
what could cause a problem. I do have the Mac OS on an external
drive, NetBSD on the stock internal.

Please any response appreciated!

	Thanks,
	Rick Niles.
