The BOAT_ANCHOR example config.new kernel config file has nonfunctional
AST slave entries.  The slave entries need "flags 1" so that the serial line
driver doesn't try to diddle with the interrupt enables on the
individual lines.

Try to use a serial line on an AST 4-port card.
