System: NetBSD erzo 1.0 NetBSD 1.0 (GENERICAHA) #3: Sun Oct 23 20:58:04 PDT 1994 cgd@sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERICAHA i386

>Description:
uucico locks up after a random amount of time. This seems to happen
more frequently on uploads of mail then downloads, but does occur during both
times. Usually, uucico is able to transfer a small number of messages before
it gets stuck. When uucico locks up, the RD and SD lights stop flashing, and
the uucp logs report no further transfer of information. Eventually, uucico
times out, but the port is left in a bad state.
Two Notes: All other modem programs (tip, kermit) work fine at this
point. uucico worked fine prior to 1.0.
>How-To-Repeat:
anytime uucico is run, it will eventually lock up as noted above,
usually within a minute or two.
>Fix:
none known, other than rebooting the machine whenever the port gets
stuck.
