It seems to me a lot is missing from these floppies. I cannot find load_fd nor
mread, copy_kernel does not make my harddisk bootable (though it does copy
/netbsd to wd0a), though that may be because I cannot extract the tars b/c I
seem unable to read other than the boot floppies.

When I get home this afternoon, I will try to put mread of 0.9 (I still have
the boot floppies of 0.9, not the binaries, though, and FTP-ing them again
would be a real drag, since we life on two 64 Kbits/sec lines here :-( ) and
see if I can untar the binaries with that. Since according to the manual you
first need to set up the distribution files, and then copy the kernel, there
may be a chance that it will boot from my hard disk, but if this fails, I would
gladly accept some guidance/help in the matter. :-)
