I have installed NetBSD 0.9 in a 386-40 PC with and NE2000 network card.

When I do a 'netstat -in' I get the ne0 interface described on two lines, as
below:

Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts
   .......
ne0 1500 <Link>
                                                          1820 ......
ne0 1500 xxx.xxx.xxx xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1820
  ......

where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is my network address.

I have never seen this netstat behavior for an ethernet interface (only for
SLIP interfaces)
The network stuff seems to be running. I can do all the usual things. The
problem I am having and have traced to my NetBSD 0.9 box is that it sends 2
packets out for every 1 it receives. I have gone over my configuration a
zillion times and can't find anything wrong. My theory is that somehow my
ethernet interface if getting configured twice, or it is configured as a
Point to Point link.

My question: In NetBSD 0.9, should my Ethernet interface show up as 2
lines when I do a 'netstat -in'?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
