There have been a number of nominations for the Package of the Month
award - Bruce Nourish nominated pkgsrc/www/snownews:

Many sites (slashdot, daemonnews, the BBC, Wired, NetBSD.org)
make news headlines (and often brief summaries) available via
an XML file format known as RSS or RDF. An RSS reader allows
you to very quickly scan your favorite news sites for
interesting news; it saves you the time and bandwidth of
manually checking each one. Snownews is a simple, curses
	based RSS reader.

Here are a few interesting feeds. Start snownews and bonk the
`A' key to add a feed.

	http://daily.daemonnews.org/ddn.rdf.php3
	http://arstechnica.com/news/rss2.0.rdf
	http://www.rootprompt.org/rss/

and Martin Husemann nominated pkgsrc/net/maradns, a simple and secure
dns server, which can still act as an authoritative or recursive name
server.
