Recently, AMD's 64bit CPU line (starting with the Opteron) was launched,
using the name "AMD64", instead of the "x86-64" name used previously.
Therefore, the NetBSD/x86_64 port has been renamed to NetBSD/amd64 as
of april 26th.

The associated mailing list, port-x86_64, has been renamed to port-amd64
as well. Users who were subscribed to the old list do not need to resubscribe.

A new snapshot of NetBSD/amd64 has been made available as a bootable
ISO install image, located at:

	 ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/arch/amd64/iso/amd64-2003-04-28.iso

See also the NetBSD/amd64 homepage at:

For more info, subscribe to the port-amd64 mailing list at netbsd.org.
