Re: Making a localized, educational live-usb version of Netbsd? Possible, and is worth it?
On the topic of a live/lightweight installs, check out httpdev:
http://cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/othersrc/external/bsd/httpdev/Makefile?only_with_tag=MAIN
which uses rump, and ReFUSE to mount a remote ISO on a remote
webserver.
It would save all that hassle with downloading huge images, or binary
sets, writing them to USB sticks, etc.
Regards,
Alistair
