Why should anyone be aggressive? Because you wrote "The second-best is not
second-best no more."? Or because you did not mention NetBSD in the last
section ("Whereto?") but Free-, Open-, DragonFly- and even PC-BSD)?
Sorry, if no-one takes your writings so serious to become aggressive ;)
Alistair Crooks gave some background infos regarding Charles Hannum and
the advise to look at the source changes ( The NetBSD CVS Digest:
http://digest.coris.org.uk ) to argue based on facts - and not on someone
else's statements.
About FreeBSD: very helpful community, friendly developers, impressing
number of applications and a really great OS. Two or three unfriendly
replies to your article from them - that simply doesn't matter.
kind regards, Mark
