1) Picking up this thread from March 2006 again: After talking to Henning 
Schlottmann, who's handling copyright questions for Wikipedia Deutschland, 
latest state of this affair is that the logo's added back:

2) The (german language) text there could use some work. I'd appreciate if 
someone could have a look - see also my other message to regional-de@.
